Variant by Robinson Wells
Action, Adventure, suspense, and Mystery. This book has plenty of all of that. This book follows Benson Fisher, a foster kid who has never found a permanent home. He hears about this school and get a scholarship. once he arrives he finds out that there is more to this school than he read about it. He finds out about the groups or gangs as they are called and you have to join one once you arrive at the school. he keeps finding a way to try and escape. He can't escape and must follow all the rules or get detention. No one ever comes back from detention. this book keeps you interested and is nonstop keeping you on the edge of your seat. the ending was just a big what!!!! I can't wait to read Feedback, the sequel to variant. I give this book a 4 out of 5. I'll see you next time with a new book from my shelf.
Percy jackson and the olympians series books review
I have waited till I had read the entire series so I could do one collective review on all five novels. I loved the book. they are amazing and rick riordan's cliffhangers. I finished heroes of Olympus a few weeks ago. and I can't wait till house of hades. I will post a lost hero and son of Neptune review in the next few weeks and I will post a mark of Athena review before House of hades is released. My favorite characters I the series are Thalia, Clarisse, Annabeth, and Nico. I paid more attention to those charaters than anyone else. I felt sad for Nico at the end of titans curse. this series is great for everyone even if you don't like Greek gods the action and adventure will keep you interested. the last book in the series was one of the best. I think that is my favorite one of all. The epic battle that we have all been waiting for finally arrives. Percy finally confronts Kronos. I have to say that I felt sorry for Luke. I thought he was kind of a jerk for a while but then you realized why he did what he did. so overall these book will suck you in and the crush your hearts and lift your spirit. these books are good and you will enjoy them. I give this entire series a perfect 5 out of 5. Come back soon and check out what's new on my bookshelf.

The Son of Sobek by Rick Riordan short story review
This was definitely an interesting story. This story is a Kane Chronicles and Percy Jackson and the Olympians crossover. This story take place when a monster is going around New York and is terrorizing the place. this story is from Carter Kane's point of view he runs into Percy because they are both hunting the same creature but when they meet they get into a huge fight. Once they band together they fight the creature and save the town. it is worth the read. and it also contains a sneak peek from the next book in the Heroes of Olympus series House Of Hades. the sneak peek isn't a big cliffhanger but is does leave you with a few questions that you will have to wait till October to find out the answers. I hope you all enjoyed this and keep looking for a new book review. Come back soon to see what's new on my bookshelf.
